Well, Matheran is a place located in the interiors of Maharashtra. Property is planned by TATA GROUP. In Matheran, there are no vehicles allowed to maintain a “Pollution free” environment . Vehicles are stopped outside “Aman Lodge” Station and from there you have to take TOY TRAIN to reach MATHERAN

The Toy Train journey is from Neral- Aman Lodge- Matheran. And from Matheran station , there’s complete 30 to 40 minutes walk.

Also there is “Haath Gaadi” and Rickshaws for those who cannot walk. But after After MATHERAN, no vehicles allowed to maintain a pollution free environment.
Well , you can enjoy Sunrise Point, lakes , Temple and lots more , if you are Nature lover.
