Everybody knows Pamela Chopra ( Pam Aunty) As wife of Legendary Filmmaker Yash Chopra; But how many knew Pamela Chopra was wonderful playback singer as well. She may not have sung quantity of songs but a few ones under YRF and Punjabi movies; Songs were superhits.
Had a blessing to meet Pamela Chopra at guess Dadasaheb Phalke awards which was in memory to Yash Chopra ji in 2014 after I directed Short Film “Zindagi” .

Pamela Chopra born on 19th Feb ; Just sharing a my Nostalgia moment. She sang “Ghar Aaja Pardesi” from the iconic DDLJ ; Bajre da sitta song from one of popular Punjab cinema; Main Sasuraal nahi Jaayongi and lots more apart.
Also Moments with Yash Chopra remains Nostalgia; as I directed my very first short film “Clean and Green India” in 2011 wrote a mail to YRF that would like to shoe to YASH UNCLE.
Although got no response bur yes “Merlyn” who Was secretary to Yash Chopra that time ; she invited me to YRF Studios at 4th Floor ; floor which belongs only to Yash Chopra sir.
She offered me I want something; As was bit Nervous ; told I am OK… Just Black coffee
As was having Black Coffee; Yash Chopra came out and I immediately stood up to wish sir. Sir smiled and told; “Beta you should sit and have coffee “

On this Yash Chopra sir smiled; was telling experience of JAB TAK HAI JAAN movie which was just completed. Not much but yah 10 mins conversation with Yash Chopra sir remains truly Nostalgia moment- Priyanka Raina
