Talking about patriotism, we have grown up with Manoj Kumar movie where it defined freedom from Britishers. We got freedom , but are we really free. Now it’s 21 st century and Now it’s time for freedom from Fake rules. So here AKSHAY KUMAR comes with Padman .
Padman is a story of Lakshmikant Chauhan (Akshay Kumar) who sees that his wife is using Dirty cloth for Periods. He feels it’s unhygienic and tries to make using cotton. But is unsuccessful.
Then one day on TV , a slogan comes “before seeing your product to customers, try it your self .” On giving to testing Iab , he finds out that it’s fibre and not cotton. By using simpler techonogy of grinding and then cleaning and soaking – He invents a machine .
Now Pari (Sonam Kapoor) who eventually turns to be first customer when everyone including his wife (Radhika Apte) refused to try and left him , gives him a contest where he can put his research.
Eventually they go to villages and sell Pad for only Rs 2 and got a positive feedback. And that’s New today FREEDOM from old fake Superstitious rules.
Review : Akshay Kumar certainly needs a thumbs up for bringing a eye opener film to spread awareness and remove Fake Superstitious from country.
