There are several stories which have have made history in past and created waves like Ek Duje ke liye , Heer Ranjha , Romeo Juliet and many more. But when a love story is created, why It has to have a sad ending. Why cant love birds meet ? Well Lets see what our first release Laila Majnu tells us?
Well , To start with Laila Majnu is a love story of Laila (Trupti) And Majnu (Avinash Tiwari) who belong to two different political backdrops staying a small town Srinagar. This would be the most simplest one liner , if complications wouldn’t arrive.
Laila belongs to Political family (Parmeet Sethi) who wants to become Minister and MAJNU belongs to Rich business man s family who wants to own Parmeet sethi ‘s land. Laila ‘s family disapproves and gets her married to their political son who proves to be a wrong husband. He drinks and abuses later which irritates them. Now They thought of bringing Majnu again , But what happened to Majnu after four years – Well that’s our story shot within outskirts of Kashmir.
Direction: Debutante Director Sajid Ali has put up a good story line with power impact base. Of coarse the backdrop by Director Imtiaz Ali can be seen, where the locations are shot even more better. Cinematgraphy is beautiful, that you are gonna fall in love with Kashmir.
Music : Music of film Hafiz Hafiz and the Title song is enthusiazing and keeps you engaging within the loop.
Cast: New cast Avinash and Trupti looks promising and they had kept it well what their Director had asked.
The Last Word: Laila Majnu is watchable film atleast once , if you are looking fora Love story and of coarse for mesmerizing locations of Kashmir
