Talking about films based on Murder Mystery , generally are known for keeping their suspense maintained throughout on “Who is the Murderer” and “Who is Victim”. Films in past such as Humraaz which proved to be a Blockbuster which was one of the Sunil Dutt’s versatile performance. Talking about Film “Talwar” which is based on Recent issue “Arushi Murder Case”.

Manish Gupta’s Rahasya was too based on “Arushi Murder Case” which was considered to be an artistic film with a good story & managed to Hit Box Office even in its 12th week. Now Meghna Gulzaar’s TALWAR is more commercialised in every aspect, with Award winning Actors and Best part is you will get to see Versatile Actors Irrfan Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma sharing screen space

Nupur Talwar(Konkana Sen Sharma) and Rakesh Tandon are likely to celebrate their Daughters Birthday Shruti Tandon on 24th March with surprize gifts, But unlikely she gets murdered on 16th March while she was sleeping. Suspects on the servants or parents, well not going to reveal much.

Talwar also shows the real phase of Police Department, on how corrupt they are and how easily they escape from the issue put blame on parents. Then Case goes to CBI (Irrfan Khan) which gives a new turn to the story and reveals a bitter hidden truth. But all five fingers are not alike, so (Irrfan Khan) is declared to be corrupt and case goes to their CBI Team which reveals another story.

Now Governor takes decision, on who is having proof with evidences? Who will reveal the Mystery behind “Shruti Murder Case”?

Irrfan Khan is married to Reema (Tabu) and their relation is a Bit Love-Hate one and want to Divorce each other. Then He tells, Our story is like “Ijazat” Movie and Tabu watches Ijazat. Tabu is good in her small role.

Also Chetan Bhagat’s Three Mistakes has been added to note, while Shruti Tandon was reading to justify her Murder as Honour Killings.

Music By Vishal Bharadwaj is sensational and goes with the loop. Also There is Singing by Police Dept which will give them chance to be next Indian Idol, According to Irrfan Khan (Laughs)

Watch Or Not : Is watchable, for those want to see good Cinema, Good Performances and Entertainment

Rating : Three and Half Stars to the Film. One Star goes the story which keeps Suspense throughout, One Star goes to the Thundering Performances by all Actors, One Star goes to the Director and Half Star to the Music of the Film for keeping loop throughout.
