A Film that makes you proud to be an Indian
Talking about movies in the past , several movies have come which show the real phase of corruption like some of which were eye opener like AAN MEN AT WORK, while some bombed at Box office. Lets see how our next release of the Independence Day “SATYAMEVA JAYATE” fares at Box office.
Well , To talk about John Abraham has set his small market with Parmanu under his production , which was made on a very small scale and earned huge profits.
SATYAMEVA JAYATE is a basically a story of two brothers Shivaansh (Manoj Bajpayee) and Virendra Rathod as VEER (John Abraham) who were trained under same Police guidelines by their father , But seen in a different way. Life changed for them when Their DAD was suspended due to taking bribe and he burns himself because he could not bear insult.
Now Shivaansh joins police and decides to be genuine and cot corrupt as his Dad. Where as VEER decides to remove corruption and researches Police officers who takes bribe and then burns them after putting petrol on them. Although this could be difficult for VEER if he was not knowing inner source of Police. He finds through Shivaansh and sees who are Police taking bribes , then kills in his own way By declaring accidental suicide.
All the officers VEER has researched, they were either suspended due to rape cases charge, bribe and then due to upper source were released in a day without any charge. So VEER decides to clean Corruption from the system , That’s SATYAMEVA JAYATE.
Casting : The word “Brilliant could be given to John Abraham after Parmanu and now he redefined Cinema with great content. Manoj Bajpayee (Winner Best Actor 208 at MIFF, Melbourne) need no words to describe. One can say , that he will sit at home , but not do any meaningless cinema. Girls Aisha Sharma, Amruta Khanvikar are good in small roles.
Music : They was not any forced song in SATYAMEVA JAYATE like to add glamour play romance or such as. Only when Veer goes in pub to find where Police officer is shown as looking with bad impression to girl “Director put item number that too remix version of old one DILBAR song” which was quite entertaining and maintained the loop.
Screenplay and Direction : Direction by Milap Zaveri is cut to cut , especially in action scenes and has maintained the loop . Well defined phase between actors and nothing looks forcibly. some of good punchline lines like showing new 500 note ” NOTEBANDI HO GAYI , PHIR BHI RISHWAT NAHI GAYI , ACHCHE DIN KAISE AAYENGE”
Verdict -The Last Word : SATYAMEVA JAYATE is of-coarse watchable for its great content , and it also defines that once again ACTORS WINS OVER STARS , as SATYAMEVA JAYATE had no big stars , but actors. and SATYAMEVA JAYATE prooved to real GOld at Boxoffice and within the audience hearts.
SATYAMEVA JAYATE is true Independence film, The movie which will actually make you proud and leave a smile on your face. Happy 72nd Independence Day , JAI HIND
